There are number of open source video editing software available for Linux. I searched in internet to find the best video editing software for Linux. But I found most of their provided ranking list was not true or simply they are no updated of their content. I want to learn video editing on Linux. So, I tested all video editing program to find the best. And I decided to share my experience to you in order to address the right answer and best solution for you. I used all video editing program available for Linux then I learned basic to intermediate level of video editing techniques. I found that these are not for professional video editing purpose but these software are very good for learning video editing. Note: These list not including non open source VES such as Lightworks, Davinchi Resolve and Blender (open source), because it is for 3D and VFX stuffs.
